About me
I am a Data Scientist and NLP Researcher based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
I am particularly interested in the domains of NLP, CV, ML, Data Science, and Software Development.
Though my work mostly deals with NLP research on healthcare data.
My role involves building predictive models, create NLP models and algorithms that are not only accurate and efficient but also easy to use. I focus on making sure that my solutions are understandable and user-friendly, so even the most complex data becomes accessible. My aim is to help bring your message and identity to life through innovative language processing solutions. I've had the privilege of developing NLP applications for a number of customers, helping them use language data to make smarter decisions.

My programming journey began in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown—because if you’re stuck inside, why not pick up a few coding headaches? Since then, I’ve embraced every bug and challenge like an old friend.
My Machine Learning and AI foundation came from coursework, and I built on it with courses from Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM—because if you’re diving into data science, why not let the tech giants tag along? I tackled projects like Iris flower classification and diabetes prediction, the usual starter pack.
In 2021, I interned at HamoyeAI, fine-tuned ML models, dabbled in computer vision, and worked on predicting energy efficiency—basically, trying to save the world one building at a time.
By 2023, I jumped into open-source, building an ASD prediction model with OmdenaAI. It was a great learning experience, even if coordinating with data scientists worldwide required serious coffee and timezone juggling.
That summer, I joined TransAfam Power as a Data Analyst, where I used Excel and Python to streamline workflows and earned some recognition with a Mid-Year Analysis Report—just before heading back to campus for my BSc.
Now, I’m knee-deep in NLP, working on ReviewScope to analyze customer sentiment, and researching how ML models stack up against shiny new Transformers in classifying patient conditions.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to connect or chat about data, AI, or even just how to survive the next big coding bug!🐛
